Shared reading is a high yield instructional structure that is designed to support students as they read texts that would otherwise be too difficult for them to access independently. Shared reading helps students learn to construct meaning in a supported context so they can enjoy reading and learn critical concepts of how texts work. Come to this informative session to learn how to incorporate shared reading into your daily routine and target the following critical components of literacy learning: comprehension, vocabulary, phonics and fluency
